New round of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Funko Pops! finally coming

A new round of long-awaited Episode IX Funko Pops! are finally coming out.

Fans have had to wait quite a long time for the newest round of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Funko Pops! that are coming out. The movie was released in December 2019; It’s 2021 now, which means we’re well past the one-year anniversary. But at last, there have been plans to release Funko Pops! of some of the more spoiler-filled moments from the movie.

According to Funko on Twitter, there will be five brand new Pops! to come out based on The Rise of Skywalker. Previously, we reported on leaks about these Pops! in September, and so much time has passed that we almost thought it was too good to be true. But lo and behold, these new collectibles are on their way and are available for pre-order now.

In this round, there are two Rey Pops! The first is of Rey holding her new yellow lightsaber, from the scene at the end of the movie where she goes to Tatooine. The next version of Rey is one where she wields two lightsabers in order to defeat Emperor Palpatine. Speaking of, finally, we get a ghastly looking Emperor Palpatine in this release. And along with that, we get quite the beaten-up looking Ben Solo who’s wielding his blue lightsaber (just as I hoped over a year ago!). And finally, there’s a 10-inch Babu Frik Pop! coming, which we’re sure is way bigger than the little creature is in real life.

Each of these Pops! cost $10.99, and while they’re available for pre-order now, you’ll have to wait a little longer for them to arrive. These little (and big) Pops! will be shipped in May 2021, so you’ll have to exercise patience a little longer.

As the tweet says, these drops are part of the Funko Fair for 2021. In addition to that, some other drops are planned, including Funko keychains and other previously announced Funko Pops! You can check out more of what Star Wars has for the Funko Fair on the official Star Wars website.
