Star Wars fans have been chomping at the bit for any news about the upcoming Cassian Andor Disney+ series, and now it appears that a first look at some set pieces have come to light.

On Monday, photos were shared on the Disney blog The DisInsider with a good aerial look at a few sets for the upcoming Andor series. The photos were reportedly taken by the UK-based tabloid The Sun, which also claimed that filming schedules had disrupted the villagers living close to where the set was being built. The photos, which were taken in the British town of Little Marlow, can be seen here.

The photos appear to have been taken from a drone and do not provide much in the way of plot details. However, they do shed light on where some of the episodes of the series might take place. The sets do look similar in a way to a number of other planets seen in the Star Wars universe, including Tatooine and Jedha. It appears to be sort of small town or village, so perhaps we will see some sequences similar to either Rogue One or The Mandalorian

Very few details of the show have been revealed. The series, which is reported to start filming in March, will star Diego Luna, reprising his role as Rebel soldier Cassian Andor. While the character meets his end at the finale of Rogue One along with Jyn Erso, very little is known of his early life or background, which is likely what the show is to focus on.

The series was created by Tony Gilroy, who also co-wrote Rogue One, and he was originally also slated to direct before stepping down this past September. In addition to Luna, Alan Tudyk is also confirmed to be reprising his role as everyone’s favorite sarcastic droid, K-2SO. Among other big names reportedly joining the cast include Fiona Shaw and Stellan Skarsgård, making their way into the Star Wars universe in unknown roles.

Andor was originally slated to come out this year, but was ultimately pushed back. The series will now be releasing on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
