The Book of Boba Fett is set to release on Disney+ this winter, and fans have already begun speculating on who else could show up in the series alongside the fan-favorite bounty hunter.
According to LRM Online, the series may be featuring more bounty hunters than just the titular Fett and his new ally Fennec Shand.
The site claims that some “fan-favorite bounty” hunters will be returning to the Star Wars universe in the series, though it does not mention which ones. This leaves the door open for almost anyone to appear, from Boba Fett’s close ally Bossk, to characters from The Mandalorian such as Bill Burr’s Mayfield.
With Shand set to appear in the upcoming Clone Wars spinoff series, The Bad Batch, The Book of Boba Fett could feature characters from all across Star Wars, including characters first seen in animated form such as Embo from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Potential hints from The Mandalorian’s post-credits scene
The after-credits scene from the end of The Mandalorian season two, it’s clear that Boba Fett is not done with his life of crime despite his rising age.
The scene features Fett returning to Jabba’s Palace, and approaching the Palace’s current ruler Bib Fortuna. Fett approaches Fortuna and quickly murders him, pushing his body aside and taking the throne of the palace for himself.
With Boba Fett now seemingly in charge of the crime syndicate that once belonged to Jabba the Hutt, it would make sense that he would need to interact with more bounty hunters in his position as a crime lord.
Everything from The Bad Batch to The Mandalorian is seemingly connected to The Book of Boba Fett, meaning there’s a wide variety of characters that could make an appearance in the new spinoff series.
Who those characters are remains to be seen, but if the rumors are to be believed, fans will certainly be pleased when they make their appearance in The Book of Boba Fett.
