The High Republic: Into the Dark by Claudia Gray is out now

As of today, Tuesday, Feb. 2, The High Republic: Into the Dark is out now. This comes from acclaimed author Claudia Gray, who has penned several Star Wars stories. Her past work includes: Master and Apprentice; Leia, Princess of Alderaan; Star Wars: Bloodline; and Star Wars: Lost Stars. Needless to say, Star Wars knows a good writer when they see one. And her continuation as a Star Wars author on the High Republic series is a testament to how well her writing style works in the Star Wars universe.

The High Republic series spans a different number of genres/age ranges. The first entry in this series, Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule, falls on the full-on-novel-for-adults spectrum. Next, A Test of Courage by Justina Ireland is for young readers. And now, Gray’s Into the Dark falls right in the middle of those two as a young-adult novel. But, needless to say, this story is sure to be fit for all, young and old.
