10. Mace Windu

While this is the biggest long shot of the lot, I wouldn’t entirely rule out Mace Windu making an appearance in The Book of Boba Fett.

While he appeared to have been killed during the events of the Revenge of the Sith, there are a lot of fan theories that Mace Windu did survive his fall from Emperor Palpatine’s office window and could make a future return to Star Wars.

Beyond that, Samuel L. Jackson (the actor who portrayed Mace) has stated he is very open to returning to the franchise. But one of the big issues in bringing him back would be needing the right story for his character’s return.

As stated previously, Boba’s father Jango was killed by Mace during the battle of Geonosis, after which, Boba swore vengeance upon Mace for his father’s death. However, Windu was presumed dead before Boba was fully grown and had a chance to get his revenge.

With Boba now an adult and highly skilled bounty hunter, in the event Mace Windu is in fact alive and he were to find out about it, Fett would finally have his opportunity for vengeance, and could lead to an ultimate showdown between the galaxy’s most infamous bounty hunter and one of the most dangerous Jedi.

Like I said, it’s a long shot — but so was Luke showing up in the finale in The Mandalorian season 3. Like we’ve all seen before, anything can happen in Star Wars.
