10 Star Wars characters who may appear in The Book of Boba Fett

1. Cobb Vanth

In the premiere episode of season 2 of The Mandalorian, the character of Cobb Vanth made his first appearance in live-action, played by Emmy-nominated actor Timothy Olyphant.

The character of Vanth served as the marshal for the small mining town Mos Pelgo, and when introduced, as in possession of Boba Fett’s armor, having originally purchased it from a group of Jawas several years prior.

Vanth teamed up with Din Djarin to defeat a krayt dragon that had been terrorizing the town, after which he gave the armor to Din as payment for helping destroy the beat, leading to Boba tracking him down in order to retrieve it.

Seeing as such a prominent actor was cast in the role of Vanth, that alone is enough to suggest he will make future appearances in the Star Wars franchise.

Vanth is presumed to still be living on Tatooine while Fett has seized control of the Hutt crime empire on the very same planet. In addition to the fact he once donned Boba’s armor, they have an additional link to each other from it.

Odds are, Cobb Vanth will likely make an appearance in The Book of Boba Fett in some form or another. However, whether or not he is introduced as an ally of Boba Fett or a foe remains to be seen.
