British actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge has quickly become a well-known face in Hollywood, and now she’ll star in one of the most highly-anticipated films of the next few years.

It was announced today that Waller-Bridge will star alongside Harrison Ford in the upcoming Indiana Jones 5, slated to be released in 2022. The news was first reported this morning by Deadline, and later confirmed in a press release by Lucasfilm.

With the addition of Waller-Bridge, Indiana Jones 5 will be somewhat of a Star Wars reunion. Waller-Bridge starred as the feisty, rebellious droid L3-37 in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars StoryObviously, Harrison Ford is no stranger to the Star Wars universe, having portrayed Han Solo five times. Additionally, it was also announced that acclaimed composer John Williams, who has scored all four Indiana Jones films and all nine Skywalker saga films, would be returning.

Waller-Bridge’s L3-37 quickly became a fan favorite, despite not appearing in very much of Solo. This was not exactly a role that Waller-Bridge was able to jump right into. Famously, the actress hadn’t seen a single Star Wars film and did not even know what a droid was when she auditioned for the part. Whatever she did in her audition must have worked, because the character soon found its way into a variety of different aspects of Star Wars lore.

Beyond the Star Wars universe, Waller-Bridge had played a number of bit parts in British television shows. However, her breakthrough came with the critically-acclaimed BBC series Fleabag, which Waller-Bridge created, wrote, and starred in. The show won numerous awards and skyrocketed the actress to widespread fame.

It seems that being a part of large tentpole films is becoming a standard for Waller-Bridge. Beyond her unspecified role in Indiana Jones 5, she was also a co-screenwriter for the upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die. With all of these projects, it seems that we are just beginning to get a peek at the variety of hats that Phoebe Waller-Bridge can wear.
