Marvel fans might still be upset over The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ending over on Disney Plus last month, but we all know we’re still just at the beginning of the Marvel TV lineup on the streaming service. Next up will be the premiere of Loki in June, and after that, we have highly-anticipated shows such as Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, and of course, Moon Knight.
While we don’t have confirmed release dates for all of them, we do have a few exciting cast announcements. One that Star Wars fans might be excited over is the report that Oscar Isaac will be portraying the titular character in Moon Knight. As we previously reported, the lovable Poe Dameron actor is set to portray the fictional superhero according to the likes of Deadline and other reputable sources. However, neither Disney nor Marvel have confirmed the casting just yet.
So while we wait for more news regarding Oscar Isaac taking on the role of Marc Spector in Moon Knight, let’s take a look at some fun fan art to imagine what he might look like suiting up for the film.
What Oscar Isaac could look like as Marvel’s Moon Knight
Artist Dalton “Checkers” Barrett shared an image he made to his Instagram page, @barrett.digital, seeing the Golden Globe award winner in a black suit and hooded cape, seemingly his own interpretation of some of Moon Knight’s most notable costumes. “Would you like to see a suit like this for Moon Knight?,” Barrett asks in his caption.

An official synopsis for the upcoming Disney Plus series has not been released yet, but we’re assuming it will follow Marc Spector, a former boxer and Marine who, according to CBR, is given superhuman powers after he faces death and is resurrected by an Egyptian god named Khonshu. The character has often been compared to Bruce Wayne, with Screen Rant even dubbing Moon Knight “Marvel’s Batman.”
Though Disney and Marvel have remained quiet on Isaac’s casting, the actor was seen training for what was assumed to be the Moon Knight role in March. The series is said to be currently filming and is expected to be released sometime in 2022.
With Isaac all but confirming he won’t be headed back to a galaxy far, far away for another Star Wars project anytime soon, we’re looking forward to seeing him on our screens again with Moon Knight. What’s your take on this casting and this stunning fan art? Let us know in the comments below!
