One of the most unique lightsabers in Star Wars has arrived at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, the premier shop for galactic collectibles at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World and Disneyland. The Darksaber, made all the more famous with its appearance in The Mandalorian, has been spotted at Dok’s among the shop’s collection of legacy lightsabers.

Several outlets confirmed the prized collectible for sale at Disney this week, including The Direct and Inside the Magic. Star Wars fans also flocked to the parks to see the new saber for themselves and shared their images on social media. One tweet showed the Darksaber displayed next to legacy lightsabers of Rey, Leia and Kylo Ren. On Instagram, bloggers shared an up-close video of the ignited Darksaber inside Dok’s and a full-length photo of the saber.

Walt Disney World News Today also shared a gallery of photos and videos of the new Darksaber in action. The video below shows another fan explaining the process to buy the Darksaber at Dok’s and showing off the blade and packaging.

Galaxy’s Edge isn’t the only place to snag a replica of the Darksaber. Hasbro also released a Black Series version, the Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber. That one has a price tag of $249.99 while the legacy Darksaber reportedly runs for $199.

STAR WARS REBELS – “Trials of the Darksaber” – To help recruit her people to join the rebels, Sabine reluctantly agrees to learn to wield an ancient Mandalorian weapon but finds the challenge more difficult than expected. The legendary Mandalorian Darksaber first appeared in The Clone Wars. In Rebels, Mandalorian Fenn Rau tells Jedi Kanan Jarrus the history of the Darksaber — it was crafted a thousand years ago by the first Mandalorian in the Jedi Order, Tarre Vizsla. Over the years, the Darksaber stayed in the Vizsla family until Darth Maul killed Pre Vizsla after a coup on Mandalore, claiming the saber and the leadership of Death Watch.

During Rebels, Mandalorian Sabine Wren took back the Darksaber from Maul’s home planet Dathomir and underwent lightsaber training with Kanan. Later, Sabine gave the Darksaber to Bo-Katan Kryze, sister to the late Duchess Satine Kryze. Bo-Katan wielded the Darksaber until the Empire ravaged her home planet. After the Empire’s fall, the Darksaber ended up in the hands of Moff Gideon, who led a group of Imperials still fighting for their destroyed government.

As of the end of The Mandalorian season 2, the current owner of the Darksaber is Din Djarin, who defeated Moff Gideon in battle while on a mission to rescue Grogu/The Child/Baby Yoda. Bo-Katan was there helping Din with his mission, and the Mandalorian tried to give it to her, but she refused because she believed she could not be the rightful owner unless she won the saber in combat.

Along with the Darksaber, Galaxy’s Edge has many different lightsabers from characters all across the Star Wars saga — from Luke and Leia to Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker. Recently, Dok’s added Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from Jedi: Fallen Order and Count Dooku’s curved hilt lightsaber.

And, of course, we can’t forget Disney’s teaser reveal of the technology it’s using to create a real lightsaber for use at its parks and other attractions.
