The Bad Batch is picking up, and this week, we’re about a quarter way through the show. Yes, there are 16 episodes in total, which means we still have a large chunk of the season to go, thankfully. But no doubt about it, this series has been keeping us on our toes ever since the season premiered.

Now, there’s a new trailer out there for The Bad Batch episode 4, and it’s teasing some pretty big surprises. Already, we know that the Bad Batchers are on the run after their homecoming to Kamino wasn’t much of a welcomed one. They found that their regular clone brothers were obedient to orders (as was Crosshair), and they had to escape with just the inkling of a plan in mind.

So, after a failed trip to lay low with Cut Lawquane and then hitting a rough patch as their ship broke down, we find Clone Force 99 on their next adventure as they navigate this new Empire-ruled galaxy. Thankfully, the latest trailer for episode 4 teases what that adventure could be, and it certainly looks interesting.

If you watched the trailer, you’re seeing that right! Fennec Shand is finally appearing in this episode of The Bad Batch! It’s been teased long enough as is, with voice actress for the character Ming-Na Wen confirming her character would be appearing in the series. But we didn’t know quite when that would happen until now.

Wen’s character Fennec was first seen in The Mandalorian season 1, where she was the deadly assassin who the Mandalorian was sent to capture. Later, after she was left near-dying, Boba Fett came to her rescue and saved her from death. After that, Fennec was loyal to Boba Fett, and she’ll even be helping alongside him in the TV series The Book of Boba Fett.

But for now, we’re winding the clock back to see what Fennec Shand was like before all that happened in The Mandalorian. And since we don’t know her motives just yet, we can’t tell if she’ll be a friend or foe to the Bad Batch. We do see her fighting Wrecker and Hunter, but will the sparring last all episode?

The Bad Batch episode 4 is out now on Disney+, so don’t worry, those questions can be answered right away!
