Will The Mandalorian be in The Book of Boba Fett?
By Sabrina Reed
To say The Book of Boba Fett is a highly anticipated release on Disney+ would be an understatement.
As the lone new live-action Star Wars offering on the streamer for 2021, the series is carrying both the excitement of fans who have loved Boba Fett for decades and the enthusiasm of viewers who are ready for fresh live-action Star Wars content.
Not to mention, fans of The Mandalorian have been hype since it was revealed that The Book of Boba Fett wasn’t the subtitle for season 3 of the show but rather a spinoff that would star the bounty hunter himself and Fennec Shand.
Of course, as the show is set in The Mandalorian universe, it stands to reason that the question of whether Din Djarin will make an appearance is on everyone’s minds.
Din Djarin could be in The Book of Boba Fett
Outside of The Book of Boba Fett being scheduled to film before season 3 of The Mandalorian, there isn’t much known about the show other than Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen reprising their roles.
We don’t even have a synopsis for the series which will premiere in December 2021. The rest of the cast has been kept under wraps, however, there is a rumor circulating that Din Djarin will make an appearance.
Cinelinx reported in April more than one source giving word that the Mandalorian will at least make a cameo in the spinoff series. Though the rumor has been circulating for over a month, no one involved in the project has confirmed it.
If Din Djarin does appear in The Book of Boba Fett, it’s hard to say in what capacity. It could simply be via a transmission, archived footage or voice recording, or perhaps he’ll have a short stint in the series that’s an episode length.
We may have to wait and see. Until then we’ll keep you posted on more The Book of Boba Fett news as it comes in.
