Star Wars characters who should get a spin-off series: Sabine Wren

Given the popularity of The Mandalorian, it’s very possible that they could introduce yet another armored gunslinger into their Disney Plus lineup, joining the likes of Din Djarin and Boba Fett in their own series, and Sabine Wren would be the perfect choice to do just that.

One of the main characters of the Star Wars: Rebels animated series, Wren was a female Mandalorian warrior who joined the rebel crew aboard the Starship Ghost, along with Ahsoka and Ezra Bridger, in their efforts to try and take down the Empire, hoping to one day free Mandalore.

Sabine even went as far to find and claim the Darksaber for a brief time before meeting Bo-Katan and offering it to her, believing she could wield it and one day rebuild Mandalore as its leader.

The character of Sabine is rumored to make her live-action debut in the Ahsoka series, and seeing as Bo Katan and other Clone Wars characters have been crossing over to live-action, it’s a safe bet that she will too.

Beyond the Ahsoka series, Sabine is an interesting character as a renegade Mandalorian warrior, and could be in line for a series of her own, possibly reuniting with Bo-Katan again to assist in taking back and rebuilding Mandalore.

Only time will tell whether or not she gets her own series, but at the very least, I expect to see her pop up in a few of the other upcoming shows sooner rather than later.
