Star Wars characters who should get a spin-off series: Zorri Bliss

One of the most underrated inclusions of the sequel trilogy, the character of Zorri Bliss was introduced in The Rise of Skywalker as an old associate of Poe Dameron who he knew during his time as a Spice Runner.

Zorri was portrayed as an ace pilot like Poe, but instead of joining the Resistance as he did, she continued her career as a smuggler, operating outside the law while the Republic and First Order were at war with each other.

Bliss did join Poe in the Resistance’s attack on Exegol and reunited with him briefly following the battle at the Resistance base, but aside from that, she did not feature very heavily in what was the character’s only appearance in the franchise.

Given her interesting backstory and her relationship to one of the main protagonists, Zorri Bliss could be an interesting basis for her own series, following her adventures as a spice runner/smuggler in the outer rim of the galaxy.

While Bliss may not be the most obvious choice for her own series, should Lucasfilm start setting shows after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, she could be a character to build a new story around, while showcasing the state of the galaxy following the fall of the First Order along with other characters from the sequel trilogy.
