Star Wars characters who should get a spin-off series: Jabba the Hutt

While a show with Jabba the Hutt as the main protagonist may be difficult to do, the book Tales from Jabba’s Palace could make for an excellent mini-series, with Jabba constantly in the background as the show’s main driving force.

Tales from Jabba’s Palace consists of several short stories set in and around Jabba’s Palace, which could easily serve as the basis for a live-action series.

Jabba is a fan-favorite character for Star Wars fans, with many people who would love to see the notorious crime lord make a return to the franchise in a prominent role.

With a revolving cast of soldiers, spies, assassins, bounty hunters, and pleasure seekers constantly coming in and out of Jabba’s Palace, there will be no shortage of interesting characters who can make for some great stories and very entertaining television.

Hypothetically, if a show centered around Jabba’s Palace was to be made, stories could be taken straight from the book, as it has over 20 volumes inside it, as well as some original stories.

A Tales from Jabba’s Palace show would also be a great opportunity to bring in and develop characters new and old alike, while showing more of the Star Wars galaxy’s seedy underbelly.
