Star Wars characters who should get a spin-off series: Young Ben Solo

While Ben Solo/Kylo Ren’s journey came to its end in the climax of The Rise of Skywalker, it’s still very possible that a series following a young Ben being trained by Luke could one day be made.

Ben Solo was one of the most popular characters from the sequel trilogy, but aside from a few comics and the flashbacks from the films, not much has been shown about his time being trained by Luke.

Given Ben Solo’s popularity among the new generation of Star Wars fans, a mini-series centered around him would be the perfect way to show Ben in his younger years, and would also be a way to bring Luke Skywalker back for a time.

Mark Hamill, the actor who portrayed Luke Skywalker, has stated he’d be open to doing more with Star Wars and even lent his voice for a digitally de-aged Luke’s appearance in The Mandalorian season 2 finale.

Given that Luke raised Ben in his older adult years, Hamill could likely return to portray Luke at his current age, going on new adventures and teaching a young Ben in the ways of the Force, before his eventual turn to the Dark Side.

Although the sequel trilogy received divisive opinions from viewers, I have a feeling there would be plenty of intrigue in a series like this being produced down the line.
