Star Wars characters who should get a spin-off series: Galen Marek/Starkiller

Another Star Wars video game protagonist, the character of Starkiller is currently non-canon, but his story could be a very interesting one to reintroduce into the franchise.

Galen Marek, better known as his codename, Starkiller, was the main protagonist of the Force Unleashed game series. He was a Force-sensitive child taken by Darth Vader following the Great Jedi Purge, and was raised in secret as Vader’s apprentice.

Starkiller was the son of two Jedi Knights, and as a result, was extremely powerful in utilizing the Force, and throughout the games, he was sent on various missions by Vader to hunt down any remaining Jedi or other enemies of the Empire.

He would go on to turn back to the Light Side of the Force and joined the rebellion before eventually confronting Vader and the Emperor, but would unfortunately die during their battle in an attempt to save the rebellion leaders.

Vader would go on to create several clones of Starkiller, hoping to create a stable one to replace him as his apprentice, but most were cursed with the memories of the original.

The games themselves were very popular at the time and Starkiller has a very interesting backstory. Creating a series based on this game would also allow for Darth Vader to return as the main antagonist, which I’m sure many fans would approve of.
