In a recent trailer for the new season of Variety’s Actors on Actors, we got a glimpse at an exchange between The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal and “Old Ben,” himself Ewan McGregor, who is set to reprise his legendary Jedi role in the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The latest season of Variety’s double-interview style show will be shot completely from the actors’ own homes in accordance with COVID-19-related restrictions.

In the short snippet we received, featuring all of the show’s upcoming guests, we were treated to a short interaction between the Star Wars actors.

During the sequence, McGregor asks Pascal whether they had shot a third season of The Mandalorian or not. Pascal confirms that they had not started production, and then suddenly becomes flustered when he realizes he was on the verge of divulging some potentially confidential studio information. The two actors then share a laugh as the segment moves on.

Star Wars actors drop hints at upcoming content

You can watch the snippet of the upcoming interview in the YouTube video from Variety down below. Other actors who will appear in the series include Kathryn Hahn with Jason Sudeikis, Kaley Cuoco with Elizabeth Olsen, and Nicole Kidman with Chris Rock.

When the episode does air, Star Wars fans can surely anticipate some new information on McGregor’s upcoming Star Wars show as well as some possible hints about the future of The Mandalorian.

Since the Obi-Wan show is slated to air much sooner than that, it is more than likely that the focus of the interview will be on McGregor’s upcoming content instead of Pascal’s. No official photos or posters have yet been revealed for either show, but Variety’s show provides as good an opportunity as any.

Actors on Actors is set to air on PBS SoCal on June 18.
