15. Beast

Despite the name, unlike most other X-Men — Wolverine, Cyclops and Magneto to name a few — Beast displays the calmness that those characters lack. He is a physical specimen, gifted, or perhaps cursed, with incredible strength, stamina, health and everything in between. While those carnal attributes may manifest in dangerous ways at times, he never let those abilities get the best of him.

Instead, Hank McCoy is one of the smartest individuals in the world, using his intelligence to unpack the X-Men’s mysteries or aid in their greatest battles. Even with all of his physical abilities, that intelligence may be his most gifted attribute.

Above all, Beast is a deeply resonant thinker whose greatest desire is for humans and mutants to co-exist and to create a peace similar to what is strived for by the Jedi. He could aid the Jedi in many ways, whether physically or mentally, and his role in advocating on behalf of the mutants could likely translate into helping the Jedi’s reputation, which has needed it at times. And whereas Beast is looked down upon at times for his appearance, he fits right into the Star Wars universe.
