5. Sam Wilson

Whether you know him as Falcon or the second coming of Captain America, Sam Wilson is a character who has continually lived to serve while also being a leader. Like other heroes, Sam’s beginnings stem back to the Air Force,] where he served as a pararescue airman, only stepping away when losing one of his squadmates and turning to help other soldiers suffering from issues themselves. From there, Wilson’s days of heroism began, teaming up with Captain America and immediately building a trusting relationship with him.

Falcon then became a late addition to the Avengers, fighting in their biggest battles and, of course, receiving the shield when Steve Rogers decided to hang up his cap as Captain America. Now, Wilson had a whole new task in front of him. But like any Jedi, he learned to adapt and improve. Initially, Wilson turned away from the responsibility but came to realize the job was meant for him, becoming the hero that Rogers believed he could be. Now, Captain America understands his role not only in fighting off foes but in representing an entire country as well. And, to Wilson, that responsibility is much bigger than just the shield, similar to how a Jedi’s stems beyond the lightsaber.

Wilson’s journey from soldier to friend to leader is an admirable one, making him ready to receive the next rank as Jedi master. And on top of that, his and the Winter Soldier’s Disney+ show outdueled The Mandalorian, meaning that fans are ready to see him suit up in Jedi robes as well.
