In 2019, Star Wars put a close to the end of the Skywalker saga. A series that was built up since 1977’s A New Hope came to a close with its ninth and final installment, The Rise of Skywalker, and it was a movie to remember.

Following the events of Episode VIII — The Last Jedi, this final installment was all about bringing down the First Order. And all the while, Rey and Kylo Ren continued to figure out their Force dyad relationship and what that meant when it came to bringing balance to the Force.

While the movie may have received mixed reviews, it is part of the Star Wars canon and has plenty of story to offer. So if you’re looking to watch this online, here’s how you can do it.

Where to stream Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is currently available to stream on Disney+. If you’re a subscriber to Disney+, that means you can watch this movie anytime you’d like. Disney+ is also the home of all of the movies in the Skywalker saga, so you can go back and watch Episodes I-VIII as well as Rogue One and Solo too.

You won’t find The Rise of Skywalker on Netflix or Hulu, unfortunately, as Disney+ currently holds those rights. But, there are still some other streaming options if you have neither of those streaming platforms.

If you’d like to rent the movie, Amazon has it available for $3.60. You can also watch it on a variety of other rental services, such as YouTube and Vudu at a similar price. Keep in mind, this is for the U.S. only, so the results may be different depending on where you live.
