In 2017, Star Wars revealed the next installment of the Skywalker saga. That was Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.

This movie takes place just after the events of Episode VII: The Force Awakens, and follows what happens after the cliffhanger in that movie. The complete coordinates to Luke Skywalker were found, and Rey set off in the Millenium Falcon to go find Luke Skywalker. Secluded on his own island, Rey found the isolated Skywalker and tried to deliver his lightsaber to him.

What happens next is the story that The Last Jedi tells. Meanwhile, Luke’s nephew, Kylo Ren, continues his destructive streak as the Darth Vader of the First Order. Rey and Kylo Ren also continue to encounter one another in strange ways, and it leads both of them to wonder what’s going on with their connection and how they can get the other to join them on their quest.

If you want to watch this Rian Johnson-directed Star Wars tale, you may be wondering how you can watch it online. Here’s what we know.

Where to stream Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars — Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is currently streaming on Disney+. This is the exclusive streaming home for most Star Wars content. So if you have a subscription to Disney+, you’ll be able to watch not just The Last Jedi, but all the movies in the Skywalker saga.

While The Last Jedi did appear on Netflix previously, the movie is no longer streaming there now that Disney+ is its new home. The Last Jedi cannot be found on Hulu either.

Keep in mind that this is all for streaming in the U.S., so your results may vary depending on your country. Still, if you aren’t subscribed to Disney+, you can rent the movie on various streaming rental sites. Amazon, for example, will let you rent the movie for $3.99. Other rental services offer the video to rent in high definition quality or better for the same price. And, TBS and TNT are currently hosting the movie to stream if you have a cable service provider.
