The Mandalorian hasn’t quite begun filming yet for season 3. That’s still to come (though it’s happening soon). And while the new apparent heir of Mandalore, Pedro Pascal, is waiting to get back on set, he visited the estate of a different kind of royalty — music royalty.

As shared by the official Paisley Park social media accounts, the Mandalorian himself paid a visit to the estate, which is now a museum for all things Prince. According to the posts, Pascal visited the historic Minnesota recording studio last week, and they congratulated him for embodying the spirit of creativity that Paisley Park stands for.

For the trip, Pascal sported a casual look at the museum, wearing a Purple Rain T-shirt, shorts and some comfy-looking sneakers. And in response to the tweet by Paisley Park, Pascal thanked them in return, writing: “‘Darling if you want me too…’ thank you for having me @PaisleyPark #PaisleyPark.”

In the comments, many fans were excited to see that the social media star paid tribute to the late musician by visiting the museum. Lots of memes were shared as well as appreciative words and even fan art!

Should the Mandalorian change his armor to purple to honor Prince? We’re sure everyone in a galaxy far, far away appreciates good music. So, we’re totally in support of this armor change if the Armorer can fashion some custom, purple armor for Mando. (Or, Grogu can work on some arts and crafts by painting the armor for him!)

Pedro Pascal and The Mandalorian season 3

So, even celebrities have spare time to go out and visit some of the best hotspots in between filming. But as we mentioned earlier, filming for The Mandalorian will reportedly be underway soon. And that means we’re one step closer to season 3 of the series.

The series won’t be coming out this year. So we’ll have to wait until 2022 before we see Mando and Grogu back in action again.

But, with The Book of Boba Fett coming out this December, we’ll at least have something good to tie us over in the meantime.
