The Bad Batch season 1 finale live stream: Watch online
The first season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is at last drawing to a close with the conclusion of this week’s two-part season finale.
Last week’s episode, “Return to Kamino,” saw Clone Troop 99 on a rescue mission to save Hunter as he reunited with their brother Crosshair after being captured in a run-in with the Empire.
“Return to Kamino” reinforced the themes of the season as Crosshair brought his brothers together and in a shocking move, attempted to convince them to join the Empire rather than arrest them.
Hunter staunchly refused, at last appearing to choose a side once and for all as he declared they showed no loyalty to the Empire but to each other. While they briefly banded together to take down some rogue droids, the divide between Crosshair and the Bad Batch was evident once again.
While Hunter offered to help his brother and remove his inhibitor chip, Crosshair revealed he had it removed long ago and is freely choosing to support the Empire.
As a result, this will likely leave Clone Troop 99 for the remainder of the finale and the second season a more direct target of the Empire and Crosshair as they continue to go on the run across the galaxy and work as mercenaries for Cid. Of course, you’ll have to tune in to find out.
