Here we are at a bittersweet moment in time: the premiere day of The Bad Batch’s season 1 finale. This spinoff series has been an interesting and exciting one for sure, filled with lots of new, memorable characters and moments.

And in last week’s episode, they left us on quite the cliffhanger. Following episode 14, episode 15 picked up with The Bad Batch on the hunt for, well, Hunter. He purposely sacrificed himself in the previous episode so that the rest of the team could make a clean getaway. And now, it was just him and his old teammate Crosshair.

Hunter did his best to try to get Crosshair back on his side. But ultimately, it was a no-go. Crosshair revealed his inhibitor chip had already been removed — so we couldn’t blame his decisions on his programming anymore. On top of that, Admiral Rampart practically left the Bad Batch and Omega for dead, preparing to annihilate the Kamino clone facility at the end of the episode.

So, what can we expect from the season finale? Disney+ has some helpful details.

The Bad Batch episode 16 synopsis, title, and runtime

The season 1 finale of The Bad Batch, otherwise known as episode 16, is titled “Kamino Lost.” The episode is approximately 29 minutes long. And here’s how Disney+ describes the episode:

"The Bad Batch find themselves in unexpected territory in this thrilling finale. Part 2 of 2."

It’s quite the interesting synopsis, especially the part about them being in unexpected territory. With the Batch already on Kamino (which is far from unexpected territory), what does this mean for their whereabouts?

We already know that The Bad Batch is getting a season 2. They announced it well before episode 15 came out, which sort of ruins any suspense about the Bad Batch surviving. (Well, that doesn’t necessarily mean all of the Bad Batch will survive the finale, but it does lower the stakes still.)

Either way, the wait is over for The Bad Batch season 1 finale. The episode is available on Disney+ to watch now!
