Disney is revving up to share the best of its best again this year, and it sounds like it’ll all be culminating on what’s being called Disney+ Day.

This was revealed during a Disney conference call last week, in which CEO Bob Chapek promised that they would use that day to showcase what’s in the pipeline for all things Disney.

Here’s what Chapek said in the call (via The Direct):

"From our media networks, to our theme parks, to our consumer products, this synergy enables us to raise consumer awareness and further increase engagement with our streaming services. And the power of this synergy will be on full display on Nov. 12 when we celebrate Disney+ Day with an unprecedented, company-wide, cross-promotional campaign. Our robust pipeline of content continues to fuel growth and we have an incredible lineup of new programming for Disney+."

What is Disney+ Day?

So, as Chapek said, Disney+ Day will take place on Nov. 12, 2021. This day marks the two-year anniversary of Disney+’s launch. And as such, we can expect to hopefully see some big reveals from them that day.

In addition to the statement above, Chapek said, “we [will] approach those consumers who have not yet signed up for Disney+ with a really attractive group of titles to be announced.”

Which, at this rate, it’s hard to think that Disney still has more work to do when it comes to recruiting new subscribers. Already, they hit 103.6 million subscribers as of this April (per Variety). But still, it sounds like Disney has more to show off yet.

For one, this sounds like it could be an event similar to last year’s Investors Day presentation. This was kind of like Disney’s own virtual comic-con, in which they announced a plethora of different projects (including the many new Star Wars series) and debuted trailers for already announced projects.

We could be getting more of that this year, including some possible new looks at hotly anticipated Star Wars and Marvel projects. And with the “synergy” aspect being promised by Chapek, we might also expect to see some Disney Parks news as well, including some possible information on the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

It should be an exciting presentation come November and yet another display of how much of a powerhouse Disney is.
