24. Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of the most talented people in Hollywood. Not only is he an actor, but a director, singer and entrepreneur as well. He has done it all from starring in feature films like InceptionLooper or Snowden to writing and directing his own in Don Jon to snatching up Emmys and Critics’ Choice Awards.

All of that being said, there is no doubting that Gordon-Levitt could do a fantastic job as Luke Skywalker. He could both create an enthralling story with the character and portray him as well. He also has the blockbuster experience behind him with the likes of The Dark Knight Rises and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. He has even been in the runnings to play a lead hero before in the likes of Ant-Man. Perhaps Skywalker could be the role for him instead.

It is also worth mentioning that he already has a hand in Star Wars as well. Because of his relationship with director Rian Johnson, Gordon-Levitt lent the voice to Slowen Lo, the create who notified the police of trespassers on the Canto Bight beach in The Last Jedi. And, how about for another coincidence, Mark Hamill himself voiced another patron on Canto Bight named Dobbu Scay. So it feels like a match has already been made between the two.
