Ming-Na Wen didn’t earn her Disney Legend status by dreaming big. Sure, all achievements start with a “what if” and an ambition. But it took patience and persistence to learn the moves and land the roles she has. And now she gets to be in a Star War? Hard work does pay off.

She may be one of the latest Star Wars characters to become an instant fan favorite. And her list of ongoing and upcoming projects is at least 10 steps above “impressive.” But she’s not too busy for a good old-fashioned home renovation.

On her Instagram page, Ming-Na Wen is posting videos of what she’s calling her “renovation workouts.” Using the Force may not be about lifting rocks, but moving boxes is definitely part of it, right?

And on Monday, the 57-year-old actress shared just what it looks like to be a “DIY Diva.” Looking absolutely fit and fab, Wen showed off her big guns in front of the camera, and now we know why we should all aspire to be Ming-Na Wen when we grow up.

Ming-Na Wen is the fit, fierce nerd we all still aspire to be

It’s no secret that the Marvel and Disney actor’s “nerddom” spans many franchises. Of course, it wasn’t Wen herself that caught her followers’ attention (though, real talk, making weight-lighting fashionable is goals). Most top replies to her tweet were about her Streetfighter Capcom arcade console, which fans identified just from the portion of it that’s in the photo.

She pointed this out soon after in her own reply, writing: “I am AMAZED how many of you know that… Love my nerdy Mingalings!”

It’s hard not to love her right back. Not only did Wen join the Star Wars franchise as ruthless bounty hunter Fennec Shand (both in live-action and animated form!), but she also recently wrapped up her tenure as Agent Melinda May in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And based on her past tweets, it’s clear she is having the time of her life getting to play physically and characteristically strong female characters in some of the biggest science fiction and fantasy universes of the century.

Her Twitter bio says it all: “Lucky to live out her dreams with her family.” Most of us will need all the luck we can get to turn our dreams into realities the way she has.

Ming-Na Wen is an inspiration to aspiring nerds, performers, and fitness enthusiasts everywhere. You really can do it all. As long as you have the tools and drive to get it done.
