If you’re looking for something new to put on your watchlist, look no further than Tesla’s very own Elon Musk. The CEO happens to be a Star Wars fan, just like many of us. And there’s a certain Star Wars series he’s been watching that totally deserves all the love it can get.

Musk revealed on Twitter that he’s currently watching none other than Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which recently wrapped up its first season on Disney+. The series is a spinoff of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and it takes place after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. There, it follows a group of genetically mutated clones known as the Bad Batch, who must find their place in the galaxy while trying to escape the grasp of the newly formed Empire.

The funny thing is, Musk didn’t just tweet outright that he was watching The Bad Batch. It was all a result of a quick interaction between him and former Disney-CEO Bob Iger. Musk tweeted out a Star Wars meme on Saturday, and it caught the attention of Iger, who replied “Good one, Elon!” (H/T to The Hollywood Reporter.)

Elon Musk recommends The Bad Batch

After that, Musk followed up today sharing that he and his little one “X” (aka, X Æ A-12) have been watching the series. And this just means little X is already off to a great relationship with Star Wars, seeing as the child happened to be born on Star Wars Day of last year.

As Musk notes, he’s also looking forward to seeing The Bad Batch season 2. Perhaps Bob Iger is the wrong person to be sharing this enthusiasm with — Bob Chapek is the new CEO of Disney, after all. But season 2 of The Bad Batch is already confirmed to be coming out in 2022. So Elon Musk and all the other Bad Batch fans (or soon-to-be Bad Batch fans) won’t have to wait incredibly long for it.
