Kattee Sackhoff first joined the Star Wars universe as the voice of Bo-Katan Kryze in The Clone Wars and continued the role briefly in Star Wars: Rebels.

The longtime sci-fi actor reprised her role as Bo-Katan in live-action for the first time in the second season of The Mandalorian in 2020. But like all celebrities, she has a life outside the small screen and beyond a galaxy far, far away.

Katee Sackhoff gets married

According to an Instagram post from earlier this week, the actor is officially married.

“Tell me you had an amazing wedding without telling me you had an amazing wedding,” she wrote on Tuesday. She also tagged her now-husband, writer/producer Robin Gadsby. The two apparently met while working on Netflix’s Another Life, the actor told theInside of You podcast earlier this year.

The photo includes Sackhoff’s wedding dress, shoes, and a bottle of wine that was a gift from her father.

Before her recurring role in Star Wars — she has now portrayed Bo-Katan in various mediums for almost a decade — she was probably best known for her Battlestar Galactica role. But her parts within and outside of science fiction span decades.

It’s likely Sackhoff will appear in The Mandalorian season 3, though it’s still unclear how big of a role she would play this time around. When asked recently about Bo-Katan’s future, she gave the expected response of someone who has to feign ignorance even if she isn’t.

“One of the roads that could be gone down [in season 3] — absolutely, you’d think — would be the unfinished business,” Sackhoff said. “But that is so far above my pay grade, and you just don’t know, right? As a fan of the show, I’m just excited to see what they come up with.”

Sackhoff’s Star Wars character’s story will continue, but we’ll have to wait a while to see where she ends up.
