Star Wars books and comics coming in October 2021

Hello, readers!

We here at Dork Side of the Force are settling into the autumn spirit as we leave summer well behind us and enter the crisp air of the fall season. Of course, not every region is experiencing sweater weather but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still a perfect time to grab a cup of something hot and settle in with one or two of the upcoming Star Wars books and comics releasing in October.

Halloween is on the brain. Disney+ has already rolled out LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales, the animated special meant to send a chill up children’s spines as well as leave them giggling. It’s our lone new Star Wars entry on the streamer but thankfully we have the written word to keep us entertained.

There are 19 new Star Wars books and comics coming out this month with a few that’ll skew toward enough chills to be suitable for the current holiday season. Also, if you were partial to Ronin’s episode “The Duel” in Star Wars: Visions, then you’ll be excited to know his standalone novel by Emma Mieko Candon debuts in October.

While most of the titles on our list are for an older audience, there are a few selections specifically meant for children like The High Republic: Showdown at the Fair by George Mann and an activity book or two.
