LEGO Star Wars: Castaways game gives players new lead role
LEGO Star Wars: Castaways has been recently announced on StarWars.com, a new game coming Nov. 19 that will be featured only on Apple Arcade. With its recent release of Star Wars: Terrifying Tales, it appears that the adored franchise is continuing to lean on LEGO animation and its all-ages accessibility. The exciting news also comes with a very important question for its gameplayers: “Who’s the star of the LEGO Star Wars game?”
Very simply, the answer is you! LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will take players on an adventure where they are the hero in a galaxy far, far away. Besides this being a very cool notion, this will also be “the first social, action-adventure LEGO Star Wars game.”
This means that players will get to customize their own characters and design them from a variety of hundreds of LEGO pieces, including the ability to customize your character with “iconic costumes.” So, not only will you get to highlight your love of one or many characters, but your special character will have whatever style you want it to have.
LEGO Star Wars: Castaways gameplay and what you can look forward to
Along with creating your own character, players will get a brand-new Star Wars experience; exploring a new planet and an ancient civilization. Players younger and older will have the opportunity to discover other castaways on this “secret planet,” while learning about the inhabitants of old as you race to find a way to save your new home from an unknown threat.
LEGO Star Wars: Castaways also gives you the opportunity to “race Microfighters” or “relive Star Wars moments” from beloved locations across the galaxy. With an age rating of 9 and above, this Gameloft online game has the potential to get the whole family involved in more ways than one. You will have the opportunity to play with friends and family; you can team up on adventures or challenge each other to see who truly has the potential to be “A New Hope” in the Star Wars universe.
As this game is featured on Apple products, you will need to have a subscription to the Apple Arcade service that is $4.99 per month. LEGO Star Wars: Castaways looks to provide such a new customizable experience, with expansive features that also include puzzles and “flight simulations,” it might be an irresistible draw to the subscription platform. One might say it will create a Force grip on your desire to play.
