November is a special month for Disney — it’s the month that the company launched its streaming service, Disney+! And you’ll want to mark that special day on your calendar, Nov. 12, because Disney has something special in store. Called Disney+ Day, we can expect to see lots of great, new things — including a few hot releases that we included in this list today — and hopefully, we’ll get some announcements about upcoming projects as well.

So, as we begin to wrap up the year, there’s still plenty of things that the streaming service plans to release. And we picked out seven of those top shows, movies and specials that you won’t want to miss this November 2021.

Disney+ November 2021 shows and movies

1. Hawkeye

Christmas is coming a little early this year by the way of Hawkeye, the new solo MCU series debuting on Nov. 24. In this series, Hawkeye finds himself under attack in New York City for strange reasons during Christmastime, and he teams up with archer Kate Bishop to find out why. As a bonus gift for viewers, Disney+ will be premiering two episodes on the release date.

2. Under The Helmet: The Legacy Of Boba Fett (Documentary Special)

For years — decades, even — Boba Fett has been the coolest bounty hunter in the galaxy. And on Dec. 29, we’ll be seeing him in his own series, The Book of Boba Fett. But before that, Disney+ will be premiering this special documentary on Nov. 12, which looks back on the creation and the legacy of this epic Star Wars character.

3. Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special

Not much is known about this Marvel Studios Special that will be premiering on Nov. 12, but the synopsis says it “explores the Disney+ series of the MCU—past, present and future.” So, we might be getting new looks at some of the upcoming Marvel series. And if you’ve been a fan of them so far, you won’t want to miss this mystery presentation.

4. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

After being released in theaters only, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings finally finds its way onto Disney+ on Nov. 12. Now, you can relive the magic of the origin story of Shang-Chi once again or discover this Avenger-in-the-making for the very first time — all in the comfort of your own home!

5. Jungle Cruise

If you’re looking for a classic family adventure movie to watch, Jungle Cruise will be sailing its way onto Disney+ on Nov. 12. The film stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, and it takes the Disneyland ride that it was based on and transforms it into a thrilling, fun tale.

6. Home Sweet Home Alone

Get ready for the 2020s’ take on the Home Alone franchise with this new, updated film that takes yet another helpless kid who must defend themselves when two whacky burglars try to break into their home. While nothing can beat the original, this film, coming Nov. 12, should be fun to watch if you’re looking for something new this holiday season.

7. The Beatles: Get Back

On Nov. 25, Disney+ is bringing us one of the most intimate looks at The Beatles yet in this three-part documentary special directed by Peter Jackson. In this, you’ll see Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison like never before. And for 50-year-old footage, the film has been restored to a superb quality, almost as if it had been filmed today.
