When Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was first announced, the idea of a Star Wars-themed hotel that felt like a real voyage through space (though, sadly, not actually in space) still seemed unreal. Now, as of today, general bookings for the experience have opened, and spots are already filling up.

The cost of the one-of-a-kind experience has been a major pain point for many fans who hoped to book a trip to Disney and make the Starcruiser part of their vacation. At this time, the exact pricing is still dependent on how many people you’re booking for and other factors, and will likely fluctuate depending on the season.

Regardless of exact pricing, though, you should plan on spending at least a few thousand dollars total on the experience even if you’re thinking of going solo — whether or not that’s worth a two-night stay and everything that comes along with it (meals, Sabacc tournaments, you know, the usual).

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser — a unique experience

Such a unique hotel stay — one that attempts to immerse you fully in the presumed life of someone on an actual starcruiser — may very well be worth the cost, even if you take the “I’ll try anything once” approach. Just to be able to say you did it one time might be worth it to you.

At the time of publishing this story, there are still spots open in April, May, and June of 2022. It’s unclear how quickly availability will fill up, since March’s spots were largely taken up by pre-sales available to exclusive groups.

You must call (407) 939-1800 if you want to book your stay on the Starcruiser. Make sure you have all possible info about your planned stay ready to go, including when you want to book (with backup options) and how many guests you want to bring along on your journey.

The Starcruiser’s sample itinerary might give you a better idea of what you’ll be able to schedule during your stay in the galaxy far, far away-themed hotel. Best of luck snagging a spot — and May the Force be with you (and your wallet).

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel opens in March 2022.
