8. Boba Fett is younger than you might think

Figuring out the math of Star Wars ages and timelines is always a bit confusing and tricky, especially as the canon expands and grows. With The Book of Boba Fett, and so much that has happened to the character throughout the Star Wars universe, it begs the question: just how old is Boba Fett?

Boba was only 10 years old when we first met him in Attack of the Clones, making him a young child when he experienced the tragic and formative moment of witnessing his father’s murder at the hands of Mace Windu.

Only three years passed between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, making him about 13 years old by the time he escaped prison and formed his own bounty hunter crew in The Clone Wars.

When we next saw Boba in The Empire Strikes Back, he was 35 years old and had lived a lot of life full of adventures we hadn’t seen. A year later, at the age of 36 years old, Boba fell into the Sarlacc pit in Return of the Jedi and presumably died. Boba didn’t make a reappearance until about five years later when he turned up in The Mandalorian at the age of 41 years old.

Boba looked a bit older than his 41 years, partly due to the scars and trauma of surviving the Sarlacc, and partly because his real-life counterpart Temuera Morrison is about 20 years older than the part he plays. Regardless, it’s safe to say that Boba has many years left.
