14. Hondo Ohnaka

Hondo Ohnaka became a fan favorite character from The Clone Wars animated series and even went on to reappear in Star Wars: Rebels. He was still a pirate, but a useful one at times because of his connection with Ezra Bridger. Hondo has proven himself to be one of the most resilient characters in the Star Wars universe, but there’s little known about him after Star Wars: Rebels, outside a brief mention in the Traveler’s Guide to Batuu book, which places him still alive and active just before the events of The Rise of Skywalker.

Hondo was once friends with Boba Fett’s father Jango, and Boba Fett and Hondo knew each other during the Clone Wars. Hondo had even once been in a relationship with Boba’s mentor Aurra Sing. But what was Hondo up to after the Empire fell?

Given his tenacity and his tendency to get himself into trouble scheming for his next big score, it isn’t likely Hondo was just sitting back while the galaxy moved on without him. Hondo could perhaps be one of the most fun Star Wars characters to make an appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, but we’ll have to wait to see.
