15. Cad Bane

Boba Fett may have been the character to make the role of bounty hunter a popular one in the Star Wars universe, but he certainly wasn’t the only one. The Clone Wars revealed one of the most legendary bounty hunters to ever be active in the galaxy in Cad Bane. Cad Bane caused a lot of grief for the Republic and the Jedi during the Clone Wars, and he was responsible for the death of many.

Cad Bane was still active as the Republic evolved into the Galactic Empire and was hired by Kaminoan prime minister Lama Su to retrieve Omega, an unaltered clone of Jango Fett and the sister of Boba Fett, from the Bad Batch. So far, nothing is known about him beyond this, but as formidable as Bane has been in the past, it’s unlikely that he didn’t continue to work as a bounty hunter for a long time after. If he’s still alive at the time of The Book of Boba Fett, it seems possible he could make an appearance.

In fact, because we’ve seen him in conflict and in competition with other bounty hunters in the past, Cad Bane’s appearance could create an interesting dynamic between the two characters. Just who is the greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy?
