25 Star Wars characters and places we’d like to see in The Book of Boba Fett
By Tom Farr
22. Sabine Wren
Boba Fett was really the first Mandalorian we encountered in the Star Wars universe. The distinctive armor gave us an idea of a race of warriors. The Clone Wars introduced us to the planet of Mandalore and gave us a more expansive view of the Mandalorian people by introducing us to other prominent Mandalorians other than Jango or Boba Fett. These characters included Duchess Satine Kryze and her sister Bo-Katan.
The animated series Star Wars: Rebels continued this exploration of the Mandalorian people, especially in light of the Empire’s devastating impact on the entire galaxy. Sabine Wren, one of the main characters of Rebels, was a Mandalorian and the daughter of a prominent Mandalorian family. As one of the main characters, Sabine learned to face the demons of her past and her unintentional betrayal of her people to wield the Darksaber, a legendary Mandalorian relic.
At the end of the series, Sabine and Ahsoka Tano venture off in search of Ezra Bridger, who disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn to somewhere unknown in the galaxy. While Ahsoka has reappeared in The Mandalorian, we have yet to see Sabine. Perhaps she’ll make an appearance in The Book of Boba Fett.
