3. Luke Skywalker

Though original trilogy fans know Boba Fett mostly as the bounty hunter hired by Jabba the Hutt to hunt down Han Solo for unpaid debts, Fett’s history with Luke Skywalker is just as significant. In fact, in Marvel Comics’ Darth Vader comic by writer Keirron Gillen, Fett was revealed as the one who informed Vader of Luke’s surname, inadvertently revealing to Vader that the son he believed had died with Padme had actually lived and grown up without his knowledge.

Later, as Luke sought to rescue Han Solo from Jabba, Boba Fett was knocked into the Sarlacc pit by Han just as he was taking aim at Luke. Though the season two finale of The Mandalorian found Luke and Boba in close proximity, the two didn’t meet face to face. But The Book of Boba Fett would be a great opportunity to reunite the two characters who both called Tatooine home for a time. Who knows what a reunion between them would look like?

Perhaps Boba could be useful to Luke in some way as he pursues restoring the Jedi Order post-Return of the Jedi. Or perhaps the two characters would still find themselves in conflict. Either way, fans are always looking for an opportunity to see more from Luke Skywalker.
