4. Mando (Din Djarin)
The Mandalorian was always the story of Mandalorian bounty Hunter Din Djarin, but given their similarity in appearance, due to the Mandalorian armor, fans began speculating that Boba Fett would appear on the show almost immediately. Season two of the show didn’t disappoint as Boba Fett, long believed dead after his encounter with the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi, appeared in Chapter 14, alive and well and tough as ever.
The original trilogy might give you the impression of Boba Fett as a villain, but his reappearance in The Mandalorian showed a different side of Fett as he helped Mando rescue Grogu from the clutches of Moff Gideon. Of course, his reappearance only fueled speculation on what Boba Fett has been up to since Return of the Jedi, and his brief stint on the show proved to only be a foretaste of what Lucasfilm has in store when the post-credits scene of the season two finale of The Mandalorian revealed that Boba’s story would continue in his own series for Disney+.
Though The Book of Boba Fett is a spinoff of The Mandalorian, it seems likely that the two characters will cross paths again, and with the third season of The Mandalorian being delayed to 2022, a Din Djarin appearance would surely be a welcome one for fans.
