Star Wars’ latest project for Disney+, The Book of Boba Fett, is set to premiere on December 29.
The Mandalorian spinoff will follow the iconic bounty hunter who made his epic return in the second season, answering questions about how he survived the Sarlacc pit and what’s to come after he takes over Jabba’s palace.
With just mere weeks until the highly anticipated series debuts, Disney has released another sneak peek at what’s to come. Let’s take a look at the latest trailer below.
As seen above, the trailer shows a lot of exciting new footage, including hints at what happened to Boba after he fell in the Sarlacc pit.
We get quick glimpses of Boba on a table with some kind of pneumatic tube coming out of his mouth, hinting at the Star Wars medical interventions that saved him from the brink of death.
Couple this with the man behind the hunter, Temuera Morrison’s, brooding voiceover, “Left for dead on the sands of Tatooine. I am Boba Fett,” and it seems The Book of Boba Fett will be telling Boba’s story as one of an enduring survivor.
At his side, of course, is Fennec Shand, another bounty hunter Boba saved from the brink of death. While the trailer gives us a general impression of the series’ production design, world, and creatures, we also see lots of footage of Boba and Fennec in action.
While it’s unclear from the brief trailer, it seems as though we see them both before he takes over Jabba’s palace and after, with plenty of incredible action to look forward to. With plenty of action in the trailer to look forward to, you’ll have to tune in to find out how The Book of Boba Fett unfolds.
