Oga’s Cantina cancellations have started at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Just when we thought getting a reservation at Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was hard enough, things just got a little tougher. It looks like reservations for Oga’s Cantina at the Disneyland Resort location were canceled from January 1 to February 6, 2022 but suddenly had openings again.
This was quite a shock for many. One Twitter user @BrookeGMcDonald tweeted the following:
Brooke Geiger McDonald on Twitter: “Oga’s Cantina reservations at Disneyland from Jan. 1-Feb. 6, 2022 were automatically canceled and guests have been receiving notification of cancellation by email. Reservations during that period are now available to book again online.”
But why are these reservations being canceled by Disney? Was it a glitch?
Oga’s Cantina reservations were canceled and then reopened at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.
There were several theories left in the comments below her tweet but the consensus seems to be due to the ongoing pandemic.
Unfortunately, with cases rising in numbers being reported in the United States, this could be affecting how Disney Parks is handling its procedures, especially with Dining reservations. Oga’s Cantina had limited reservations before at the Disney Hollywood Studios location.
Will Walt Disney World follow suit with the cancellations? Will there be more cancelations at Disneyland?
Will this affect rides and attractions as well? While frustrations are understandable, it looks like for some they might have to wait a little bit longer or try a little harder to get those nearly inaccessible Oga’s Cantina reservations.
