New Black Series Boba Fett among Bring Home the Bounty’s Bonus Bounties
By Meg Dowell
Star Wars’ Bring Home the Bounty campaign was a mix of new and previously released toys, collectibles, art, wearables, and more. It was meant to offer Star Wars fans the chance to celebrate their fandom in a variety of ways through Star Wars merchandise. It yielded 12 weeks of potential purchases and pre-orders – but it’s not over yet.
Starting today, Bonus Bounties began. These are much smaller collections of items that celebrate Star Wars, particularly Boba Fett in light of his brand-new Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett. The bonus campaign isn’t a one and done endeavor, and Black Series collectors are going to like what they’re being offered this week.
First up is Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series Boba Fett (Prototype) which will be available for pre-order starting on Wednesday, January 5. The design is inspired by the original look of Boba’s armor, which was initially intended for an entirely different set of characters before the bounty hunter was created.
Fifth Sun is also releasing merchandise inspired by Chapter 1 of The Book of Boba Fett including a hoodie, T-shirt and tote bag. If you’ve been looking to wear a Tusken Raider or the legend Boba Fett himself on your person, now’s the perfect time to snag some swag to celebrate the literal start of a new chapter for the iconic bounty hunter.
If nothing in particular has caught your eye this week, not to fear. There will be more reveals next week, and for multiple weeks after that.
Bring Home the Bounty will be offering Bonus Bounties from now through February 15, so check back here every Tuesday for a quick rundown of what you can grab. For an official list of items and links to order your merch, visit the official Bonus Bounties page.
Will you be collecting any new bounties this week?
