Temuera Morrison confirms Boba Fett’s starship rename is canon
Whether we like it or not, Boba Fett’s starship will no longer be named Slave 1. One of the most popular characters in Star Wars will be flying his Firespray class vessel under the new name Firespray Gunship.
The Book of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison, also known for his work in Aquaman, Green Lantern, and of course Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, confirmed the news. As of now, Boba Fett’s starship has not made an appearance on The Book of Boba Fett.
You can watch him reveal the new name in this brief clip posted to Twitter here. We do know he will be reunited with his starship and recognizable armor as we’ve seen in Disney Plus’s The Mandalorian series.
However, we do not know how or when. When he does will the name change be verbally stated or not?
Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett’s lead actor reveals that Boba Fett’s starship name has officially been changed.
As the name change has become official, how will the fans react? Did the reason for the name change come about over Boba Fett starship LEGO sets?
For now, we can be assured that Boba Fett will be flying his beloved starship again soon. That is if he can keep his power and those under it in his control.
Even with the deadly Fennec Shand by his side, this has proven to be more difficult than perhaps either of them expected. But at least the Hutt Twins are no longer a threat, for now.
