Recently, Ming-Na Wen spoke about the finale of The Book of Boba Fett‘s premiere season, promising that fans would look at the show differently after the events of Chapter 7. Knowing a lot can happen in a single episode — and that there are still a handful of chapters to go before we get to the finale — it’s hard not to be excited about what’s to come.

So far, Star Wars fans have seen Boba Fett portrayed in a completely different light than we’re used to. He is not the ruthless, shoot-first-talk-later kind of bounty hunter many assumed they would see on-screen when this series aired. He emerged from the sarlaac different than he was, and seeks to redefine who he wants to become. The show has a lot of time left to give fans more of the unexpected, and more likely than not, it will more than take advantage of that opportunity.

Chapter 4 of The Book of Boba Fett will likely dive deeper into the Pyke Syndicate and its quest to reclaim its presumed hold on the various districts of Tatooine. Since the show’s flashback sequences up to this point have mostly focused on the Tusken Raiders, it’s impossible to tell whether or not the episode will take place mostly in the present — or, if there are extensive flashbacks again, what they’ll be about … and when they’ll take place.
