Now halfway through its premiere season, The Book of Boba Fett has already landed a handful of surprises. Black Krrsantan is no longer a comic book-specific character. Luke Skywalker’s friends are still stuck on Tatooine. Boba Fett ate a lizard. We’ve witnessed a lot over the past four weeks, and there are likely many more jaw-dropping moments to come based on footage we saw before the show debuted on Disney+.

With Chapter 4’s intense meeting between Boba and the ruling leaders of Tatooine, we’ve now seen every moment shown in the show’s teasers and trailers. Which means we have no idea what’s coming next — we, the general audience who can only speculate which characters from The Mandalorian might show up in the next three episodes.

Judging by Ming-Na Wen’s reassurance — or warning? — that things will hit different by the time the finale ends, pretty much anything could happen over the next few weeks. Will Baby Tusken and the other missing warrior return to help Boba stand firm against the Pyke syndicate? Will the Armorer show up in all her muscled glory and take down anyone who opposes her? Let’s not forget that Captain Rex could still make an appearance. The perfect actor to portray him in live-action is right there.

While it’s looking like the remaining episodes won’t stray from the sandy streets of Tatooine, it doesn’t mean we won’t see more flashbacks. Even though Boba is healed from his previous injuries, it’s possible he could require more healing from a future encounter. Or flashbacks could come about in a different way, taking us back to Kamino or that heartbreaking moment on Geonosis to learn more about how Boba got from there to where we met him in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Hold your breath. Chances are, we’re in for a wild ride.

The Book of Boba Fett is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
