Most people are familiar with the directors of the most recent Star Wars movies with big names such as J.J. Abrams and Rain Johnson. Despite these big names, the most recent Star Wars trilogy has had a lot of negative feedback. In contrast, many of the live-action series have had an excellent fan and critical approval, and that is where Bryce Dallas Howard comes into the picture.

Bryce Dallas Howard has directed movies such as Jurassic World, and for Star Wars, episodes such as “Chapter 11: The Heiress” and “Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian.” Bryce Dallas Howard has shown her capability, and she has the ability to help move the Star Wars universe as well.

Not only does she have experience with Star Wars live-action series, but she also has coordinated with Star Wars movies as well. Bryce Dallas Howard played a major role in assisting with Solo as well.  This makes her a perfect candidate to lead a movie, especially as she has been involved with the creation of multiple shows in the new Skywalker Era.

Her father, Ron Howard, directed Lucasfilms Willow which makes George Lucas a family friend. And that family friend has taught her a lot. As reported by Variety, Bryce Dallas Howard intends to take everything she learned from George Lucas, and apply it to Star Wars projects that she works on in the future.

From excellence in her work to successful large motion picture films, Bryce Dallas Howard is a great choice for upcoming Star Wars movies. She could also help fulfill Lucasfilms’s promise to have a female director in their next few films. Bryce Dallas Howard could be exactly what Star Wars needs to generate some positive momentum and put the films back on track.
