Star Wars: The Old Republic is still alive and well, and it’s showing zero signs of slowing down thanks to a trailer released earlier this morning.

The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith will add not just a new story, but new places and features to the game that began a decade ago. According to SWTOR.com:

"“The war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire spreads to new worlds! Dangerous fringe groups rise in the dark corners of the galaxy and Darth Malgus pursues an unknown plan… Unravel these mysteries and more as your choices continue to shape the galaxy.”"

Today, a brand-new cinematic trailer reveals what fans can expect from this new adventure.

The trailer’s story hits all the classic Star Wars beats: A Jedi Padawan taken from her family. Discovering what remains of her family could be gone — all because the Jedi convinced her the Force had chosen her. Temptation from the dark side. Anger. Hate. Suffering.

That on top of breathtaking 4K graphics makes this trailer an excellent piece of Star Wars at just under seven minutes long. It may have been created to advertise a major update to a massively successful MMO, but it’s something you’re not going to be able to help but watch again and again.

The SWTOR experience’s new feature allows players to separate their gameplay style from Class Story to unlock more combat options. Players can also travel to new locations, opening their eyes to never-before-seen worlds.

If you haven’t picked up SWTOR in a while, now is the time to change that.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is available to play online now.
