Who plays Inquisitor Reva in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series?
By Sabrina Reed
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series makes its land on Disney+ Wednesday, May 25. For six weeks, due to the show’s six episode run, viewers will be treated to an adventure that will return us to Tatooine.
Our last live-action adventure on the planet took place in The Book of Boba Fett so it won’t have been too long since we were there. However, this time we’ll be traveling the desert sands with Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan.
He’s looking after Luke Skywalker and is also in hiding from the Empire. Imperial Inquisitors are on the hunt for Jedi who escaped Order 66. Among their ranks is Reva, an ambitious member of the Empire who’s determined to complete her mission.
Who’s playing Obi-Wan’s foe? Here’s what we know about the actress and the role she’s portraying!
Who plays Inquisitor Reva in Obi-Wan Kenobi?
Moses Ingram has been cast in the role of Reva. Viewers may be familiar with her work as Lady MacDuff in The Tragedy of Macbeth and as Jolene in Queen’s Gambit.
Her character Reva is described as ruthless. Ingram also says, “She’s all heart.” Considering Entertainment Weekly reports the character is one-third of a villainous trio comprised of her, the Grand Inquisitor, and Darth Vader, we do wonder what “all heart” means in this instance.
Perhaps there’s a tragic backstory in our future detailing how she became a part of the Empire and why she’s hell-bent on carrying out the dark side’s goal. While we can only speculate without further information, we do know Reva is set to confront Uncle Owen in her search for Jedi and it’s her presence that has the man spooked.
We’re also expecting a clash between her and Obi-Wan. We’ll keep you posted on more news concerning the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Stay tuned to Dork Side of the Force!
