With Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 less than two months away, official celebrity guest announcements continue to pour in. Earlier in March it was announced that Ashley Eckstein and Ian McDiarmid would be present at the event. Now an entirely new round of celebrities has been revealed.

Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Omid Abtah (Doctor Pershing), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Carey Jones (Black Krrsantan), Daniel Logan (Boba Fett), and the original five authors of The High Republic — and more! — will all be in attendance.

Esposito played Moff Gideon in Seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney+. This will be his first Star Wars Celebration appearance, along with Omid Abtah, who played Doctor Pershing also in both seasons of the series.

Celebration veteran Joonas Suotamo will also be returning to the event. Suotamo played Chewbacca in Solo: A Star Wars Story as well as the Star Wars sequel trilogy films (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker). Another increasingly famous Wookkiee, Black Krrsantan, will also be attending this year’s event — or, rather, the actor responsible for bringing him to the small screen, Carey Jones.

Actor Daniel Logan may have been out of the Star Wars scene for a while, but he’ll be back at Celebration this year. Logan played young Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones and voiced the character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The High Republic will also be a major feature at Celebration this year, as all five Phase 1 authors — Justina Ireland, Claudia Gray, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule — will make a joint appearance to celebrate the highly successful publishing initiative.

You can check out the original announcement on StarWars.com for a full guest list.

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 takes place from May 26 to May 29 with more guests, panels and more to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Stay tuned for more coverage before and during the convention.
