Even though details on the next installment of The Bad Batch are still scarce, Star Wars Celebration is expected to reveal everything fans have been begging to know thanks to a panel dedicated specifically to the show. First-time Celebration celebrity guest attendee Michelle Ang is just one of many faces to look out for.

Actors Dee Bradley Baker (The Bad Batch) and Michelle Ang (Omega) will join Brad Rau and Jen Corbett in a special Bad Batch panel “to discuss highlights from the first season of the acclaimed series as well as some exciting hints of what’s to come in Season 2,” according to StarWars.com.

Ang first received global recognition for her role in the Australian show Neighbours. She went on to appear in shows such as The Tribe and Underemployed. She may be one of the newer members of the Star Wars family to attend Celebration as a celebrity guest, but it likely won’t be the last time. Star Wars fans instantly fell in love with her performance in the series. Though other voice actors have portrayed Omega in different languages, Ang is likely to become the Ashley Eckstein of The Bad Batch. To many, she will always be Omega.

Omega is still a relatively new but much-beloved Star Wars character, and though official merchandise for the clone is fairly limited (there isn’t much beyond a Funko Pop! or forthcoming Black Series figure), fans are hopeful that she will get more love and praise than ever when Season 2 of The Bad Batch is finally underway.

The Bad Batch panel will take place on Sunday, May 29, the final day of the convention.

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 takes place from May 26 to May 29 with more guests, panels and more to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Stay tuned for more coverage before and during the convention.
